2019 has drawn to a close, and after many months of virtual silence (you may have noticed that we haven’t been posting many updates recently) – we’re proud to unveil a few shots of our Voodoo doll figurines.
The Voodoo People® experiment started back in mid 2018 as an outlet for us to develop our programming skills with virtual reality, and to share our creations (and humor) with anyone who might appreciate it.
We’re a small team who work tirelessly to help build and promote brands for other companies year round, but have managed to find the time and channel some of our creative focus into this project.
It’s been a fun but sometimes stressful journey, trying to figure out the right sizes for production, appropriate materials for construction and to identify any weak points in our dolls (as some of our models are quite complex and can be fragile in places).
It is with great pleasure then that we can finally announce some good news on the figurine front! Here’s a first look at a few of the pre-production models. It’s nice to finally see our 3D artwork come to life as something that can keep us all company at our workstations.
Although we have a long few months ahead as we finish the VR game and get the figurines ready for our fans, progress is always good. Happy new year to you! From all at team Voodoo.
